An Unforgettable Choral Experience

Sir Karl Jenkins welcomes applications from your choir to sing in a historic televised performance of The Armed Man : A Mass for Peace to mark the centenary of the end of the First World War.

The city of Berlin has been chosen to stage this momentous occasion where  over 3,000 singers from across the globe will join forces with the composer himself conducting to perform this multi –faith and multi-language contemporary masterpiece which describes the build up to war, war itself and the consequences of war.  A specially made film will be projected onto multi screens during the performance in synch with the music.

We will require a recording of your choir via email (mp3 or a link to a performance on youtube) in order that we can assess the balance and standard required for Berlin. A recording made on a phone/tablet/ipad of a recent rehearsal is acceptable.

All communication and payment is to be made through one representative of each choir.

We welcome applications from singers who are 16 years and over on 20th July 2018.
